Naples – Two warehouses in Naples, between Capodichino and surrounding areas, were seized by the Metropolitan Police as part of a joint operation with the Road and Environmental Investigation Unit. The operation stemmed from confidential reports of an illegal body shop and counterfeit vehicles.
During the investigation, officers found a Volvo XC40 with French license plates, whose information was falsified. Technical tests allowed them to trace the vehicle's original chassis, stolen in Anzio on October 28th. The second warehouse, linked to the same suspect, was used for the dismantling and illegal storage of waste.
The owner, a repeat offender living in the Amicizia district, has been charged. Authorities continue their investigations to determine the origin of the materials recovered and possible further crimes related to the seized structures. This operation confirms the Metropolitan Police's focus on combating environmental and property crimes.
