Naples - The State Police conducted an extraordinary operation on Via Benedetto Brin, where law enforcement deployed a massive force to combat urban decay and illegal activities.

The intervention is part of the plan to intensify controls prepared by the Naples Police Headquarters to restore safety and decorum in the area.

Officers from the Vasto-Arenaccia and Dante police stations, patrol cars and Kites from the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue, along with the Campania Crime Prevention Unit and the Naples Mobile Unit, participated in the raid. It was a coordinated operation that aimed to thoroughly check the entire affected area.

The numbers of the control

During the operation, 67 people were identified, 25 of whom were found to have previous convictions. policeOfficers also inspected 33 vehicles. The most critical aspect that emerged was the environmental degradation: numerous tents illegally occupied the sidewalks, transformed into makeshift shelters and surrounded by piles of waste that compromised the hygiene and livability of the area.

Three foreigners escorted to the detention center

Following the checks, three non-EU citizens were taken to the Repatriation Detention Center (CPR) to await the procedures required by immigration law. This operation confirms the authorities' commitment to maintaining high levels of vigilance in an area requiring ongoing intervention to ensure safety and legality.
