Naples - The 33-year-old who was arrested last week by a police patrol from the Scampia Police Station on Via Labriola has been released from prison and placed under house arrest.
The man, represented by lawyer Ercole Guadagno, was able to secure arrest at home despite being found in possession of various narcotics both in his car and at his home. During the validation hearing, the defense successfully convinced the investigating judge that house arrest was the most appropriate measure for his client, and he did.
The 33-year-old, with a criminal record, was involved in a high-voltage chase through the streets of Scampia, where he was caught and stopped on Via Tancredi Galimberti.
During the search, officers recovered 19 packages of cocaine (approximately 10 grams) and another 15 packages of crack (approximately 6 grams) hidden in the vehicle. A house search then found another 20 packages of cocaine—approximately 9 grams—a precision scale, and drug packaging materials. The 33-year-old is now under house arrest.
