Boscoreale – A bloody night in the Vesuvius area. An 18-year-old worker with no criminal record died after being shot.
The alarm was raised around 2:30 a.m., when the young man was rushed to the emergency room at San Leonardo Hospital in Castellammare di Stabia. Despite the doctors' efforts, there was nothing they could do for him.
The Carabinieri of the Torre Annunziata investigative unit are investigating the case, having arrived at the hospital shortly after the injured man arrived.

Investigators are attempting to reconstruct the circumstances of the attack and understand the underlying cause of the incident. They are not ruling out any possibility, ranging from an accident to a targeted attack. Technical investigations are underway to determine where the young man may have been injured and to acquire images from video surveillance cameras in the area.
The boy's identity and other details about the incident have not yet been released, pending the family's notification and the completion of the investigation.
