Naples - Errico D'ambrose He is one of the latest collaborators of justice to enter the investigation into the Amato-Pagano organization. His statements, collected starting in January 2024, have provided investigators with a detailed picture of the internal dynamics and drug trafficking that, between 2021 and 2023, fueled the clan's coffers.
D'Ambrosio, already involved in international drug trafficking, was a trusted intermediary for several criminal syndicates. After his release in September 2021, he was "recommended" by the powerful Calabrian Molè family to the Melito group, becoming the point of reference for cocaine supplies from Spain.
The Molè family's recommendation and entry into the Amato-Pagano system
According to what was reported to the magistrates, the Molè regent, Nino Molè, put D'Ambrosio in direct contact with Pompilio Antonio, known as 'o Cafone, via a crypto chat in which Pompilio was known by the nickname Flauto.
From that moment, D'Ambrosio began collaborating with the Melito group, also handling drug deals for other clans, such as that of Simone Bartiromo and Attanasio di Ponticelli.
It was the Molè family who introduced him to the Campania circuit, allowing him to manage drug shipments on behalf of the Amato-Pagano family, with whom he worked until the spring of 2023.
Cocaine supplies from Spain and the role of "controller"
In his account, D'Ambrosio described a stable supply system in Spain, particularly in Malaga, where Pompilio Antonio obtained Bolivian cocaine through an Arab intermediary known as Ciack.
The employee's job was to check the quality of the goods before shipping. If the shipment passed the inspection, Pompilio returned to Spain to install a GPS device in the container and personally track the road transport to Italy.
Between November and December 2022, D'Ambrosio allegedly personally participated in two trips with Pompilio and another affiliate, Enzo, known as Tempesta, to conclude negotiations with Iberian suppliers.
Secret chats and clan nicknames
Communications between the affiliates took place on the encrypted Matrix platform, where each member of the group had a code name.
Pompilio was Johnny (formerly Matto), Marrone Antonio was Prince, Raffaele Marrone was Gazebo, Errichelli Maurizio was Le Mans, Bocchetti Enrico was Benzemà, and Vincenzo Nappi was Brad.
D'Ambrosio said the drugs were stored in a warehouse in Gricignano di Aversa, known only to Pompilio, Marrone, and Bocchetti. After a raid and several arrests, control of the drugs passed to Enrico Bocchetti, who had become the new regent.
The clan's criminal geography between Melito, Scampia, and Mugnano
In his July 2024 interrogation, D'Ambrosio outlined the Amato-Pagano clan's power map between 2021 and 2023.
In Melito, the area was managed by Vincenzo Nappi, known as the Painter, then replaced by Enrico Bocchetti after the former's murder.
In Scampia, the management of the drug dealing areas was entrusted to a certain Salvatore della 33, also connected to the Abbinante group.
At Sette Palazzi, control was held by De Cicco Alessandro, known as Gettone, later passed to Cicciotto Careca.

At the head of everything, according to the repentant, was Pompilio Antonio, who held the reins from his headquarters in Mugnano, until, after the Nappi murder, he left Italy.
Summits, regencies and the figure of Amato Debora
During the interrogation on July 25, 2024, D'Ambrosio identified Amato Debora, Lello Amato's sister, as a leading figure in the clan's decision-making dynamics.
The woman, often present at the summits in the support houses together with Pompilio, was described as "highly feared" and capable of making strategic decisions with her husband Mimmo, one of the men who took over the regency after the arrest of Enrico Bocchetti.
Pompilio had confided in her that he was "stressed by her constant visits" and that he feared they were being monitored by the DIA, which already had wiretaps and bugs.
The trip to Barcelona and the family accounts
D'Ambrosio also recounted a trip Amato Debora and her husband Mimmo took to Barcelona in July 2023 for a “clarifying meeting” with Pompilio Antonio.
The goal was to verify the family's accounts and restore peace within the group after months of tension and suspicions of betrayal.
Reportedly, the meeting did not completely quell hostilities. Although Amato Debora assured Pompilio that Bocchetti, who had since been arrested, would not harm him, 'o Cafone nevertheless chose to remain in Spain for fear of being killed.
The Mugnano “company” and its hidden profits
The collaborator traces the internal conflicts to the creation of a real parallel company created by Pompilio and his most loyal followers to manage drugs outside the Melito and Mugnano areas.
The group included Marrone Antonio, Calzone Carlo, Carletto il Piccolino (aka Giovinco), Enzo Tempesta, Errichelli Maurizio and Careca.
According to D'Ambrosio, profits reached as much as 40 euros a month. When Enrico Bocchetti discovered the division of the proceeds, internal conflict erupted, prompting Pompilio to flee abroad.
A mosaic of confirmations
Errico D'Ambrosio's statements, which have not yet been examined in court, nevertheless coincide with the versions of other collaborators already considered reliable—Raffaele Imperiale, Bruno Carbone, Tsvetan Sabev, and Salvatore Roselli—who had described the same international drug trafficking system run by the Amato-Pagano clan.
A mosaic that, piece by piece, paints the picture of a multi-faceted criminal organization, capable of operating across Europe and Campania with business methods and army-like hierarchies.
