More than three months after the unveiling of Pippo Baudo's will, a real mystery looms over the legacy of the great television host. The "national Pippo," who passed away on August 16, 2025, leaves behind not only a void in the entertainment world but also a complex succession case that, according to leaks, has yet to be resolved.

On September 9th, in Bracciano, notary Renato Carraffa opened the presenter's last will and testament. Since then, however, everything has been at a standstill. According to a report by Il Fatto Quotidiano and picked up by newspapers such as Open and Corriere della Sera, none of the heirs listed in the will have yet formally accepted the legacy.

At the center of the story are the three main beneficiaries: his daughter Tiziana, born in 1970 from his marriage to Angela Lippi; Alessandro, born in 1962 from his relationship with Mirella Adinolfi and officially recognized by Baudo in 1996; and his longtime assistant and secretary, Dina Minna, a discreet yet ever-present figure at the host's side. Despite the fact that the will mentions them, none of them have yet made any move to obtain their share.

The crux of the matter, according to reports, concerns the overall valuation of Baudo's estate. The value of the inheritance has been estimated at approximately €10 million, a figure that, according to several sources, appears "inappropriate" considering a career spanning over sixty years, spanning prime time slots, the Sanremo Music Festival, and multi-million dollar contracts with RAI and other major national television networks. This discrepancy between expectations and actual estimates may have stalled the succession process.

In recent weeks, Open had already provided an initial estimate of the real estate assets alone, stating over €6 million. Specifically, the asset map includes four properties on Via della Vite, in the heart of Rome, a seven-room office on Via della Giuliana in the Prati area, and 17 plots of land between Noto, Syracuse, and Fiano Romano. This property portfolio also includes a villa in Torre delle Stelle, Sardinia, purchased during his relationship with Katia Ricciarelli and then definitively sold in 2018.

A significant fortune, but perhaps less, at least on paper, than one might have expected from one of the most popular and long-serving hosts on Italian television. Hence the suspicion that there are still aspects to clarify regarding the true extent of the bequest, including possible liquidity, investments, companies, or image rights. It is possible that the heirs, before accepting, are carefully evaluating every asset and liability, also to rule out any potential debts or latent disputes.

Under ordinary circumstances, there's usually not much time between the reading of the will and the acceptance of the inheritance. In the Baudo case, however, the continued stalemate fuels questions and rumors. Is this merely a natural process of further investigation into the appraisal of the estate, or is there a more complex issue lurking behind the stalemate, involving expert reviews, potential disputes, and asset inspections?

For now, no official position has been released from the heirs, nor have there been any public initiatives to clarify the situation. The will has been opened, the shares are reportedly finalized, but the crucial step—formal acceptance—remains pending. While waiting for the fog to clear, the mystery surrounding Pippo Baudo's inheritance continues to fuel curiosity and speculation, adding a final enigma to the story of a key figure in Italian television.

But why don't you let Pippo Baudo rest in peace? I don't care about his inheritance, and besides, it was his property. Why publish it? For me, everything that concerns a person is privacy! Meanwhile, I get nothing!

Pippo Baudo's inheritance seems like a complete mess. The heirs aren't accepting it, and there's too much doubt about the value of the estate. Perhaps they should clarify things better, but the situation is truly bizarre and it's unclear what's going on.
