Portici - The events date back to April 2020, during the first wave of Covid, and the journalist, involved in humanitarian aid, found a homeless man on the border between the municipalities of Portici and Ercolano, who a few days earlier had given his voice near Secondigliano.
There were three days of live, stressful broadcasts, during which the Carabinieri and Portici police intervened, but not social services. The elderly man remained on the streets for days, and Grazioli launched a full-blown awareness campaign aimed at protecting the homeless man.
Complaints arrived, one of them authoritative, from the Mayor of Portici Cuomo, who considered the journalist's behavior defamatory.
This led to a very long trial, which included prominent witnesses such as 5 Star Movement MP Caramiello, Mayor Cuomo, and the reporting officers.
Today, a full five years later, the curtain falls on a sad story: following the pleadings of Attorney Massimo Viscusi, who meticulously overturned the investigators' prosecution's case, demanding a full acquittal, the Court of Naples, Sixth Section, has fully granted his requests. The Prosecutor's Office and the plaintiff had requested a six-month prison sentence.
