Pozzuoli once again becomes the focus of joint enforcement operations to combat illegal employment and degradation. A business on Via Antiniana was closed after a raid conducted by officers from the Pozzuoli Police Station with the support of the Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, Municipal Police, Fire Brigade, and staff from the Naples 2 North Local Health Authority. The operation, ordered by the Naples Police Headquarters, uncovered a shocking array of irregularities.
During the inspection, law enforcement officials found serious structural and sanitary deficiencies, imposing administrative fines totaling 11.

But that's not all: during the checks, nine patrons were fined for possession of narcotics intended for personal use. Officers also confiscated two driving licenses and seized quantities of marijuana, hashish, and methamphetamine. The joint operation, Police Headquarters sources explain, is part of a broader strategy to combat illegal work, widespread lawlessness, and urban decay, with the aim of restoring safety and decorum to the commercial areas of the Phlegraean Fields.

It's strange how certain businesses can continue to operate despite the controls. I wonder if there's really a serious plan to address the problem of undocumented work and degradation, or if this is just a temporary measure.
