Naples – The Campania Regional Council election excluded 27 outgoing councilors, including several prominent political figures who had unsuccessfully attempted re-election. Among the most notable names were Armando Cesaro, Daniela Di Maggio, and Maria Rosaria Boccia, all of whom were excluded despite being prominent figures in regional politics.
Cesaro, a former Forza Italia advisor, stopped at 14.

With the defeat of these and other councilors, the journey ends for 27 politicians who, despite attempting to run for different parties than in the previous election, failed to regain their seats on the Council. The list of these councilors also includes names such as Salvatore Aversano, Michele Cammarano, Nunzio Carpentieri, Vincenzo Ciampi, Valeria Ciarambino, and many others, who, despite being well-known in the local area, did not achieve the desired result.
The outcome of this election marks a clear political reorganization in Campania, with the people choosing to reward new faces and renew the Regional Council. This shift could also have repercussions on the formation of the next regional government.

It's interesting to see how so many councilors have been excluded, but I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Perhaps the new faces can bring fresh ideas, but it remains to be seen whether they will live up to the citizens' expectations.
