Rome. - "The collective bargaining agreement currently being negotiated neglects, once again, the needs of so-called non-medical professionals: we're talking about thousands of biologists, but also pharmacists, chemists, and physicists who have long suffered a genuine injustice regarding wages and specialty benefits." "We insist – continues D'Anna – in asking for wage equalization.

In the hospital, biologists perform the same tasks as doctors and, in many cases, help ensure shifts and continuity of services. It's therefore right that we too should be paid the same salary.

For the president of FNOB, "The contract must be identical for doctors and biologists, as must the resources allocated to the professionals' specificity allowance, already funded for doctors and veterinarians by the 2024 budget law but not yet equally allocated to all healthcare managers in the area."

I agree with what you said, but I also believe that doctors should be fairly compensated for their work. We cannot overlook any professional figure in this crucial field.

Reading this article, I noticed that there are many problems for non-medical professionals, such as biologists and pharmacists, who are not recognized. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible because it's unfair to them.
