Sant'Anastasia - A few minutes of entertainment, then tragedy struck. In Sant'Anastasia, Carabinieri officers from the local station responded to a traveling circus after a serious accident occurred during a motorcycle stunt.
According to an initial reconstruction — still being examined by investigators — two professional motorcyclists collided while engaged in a high-speed performance.
The impact was extremely violent: one of the two stuntmen died instantly, while the other was injured.
The police are also arriving on site police of the survey section of the Investigative Unit of Castello di Cisterna, charged with carrying out technical inspections and accurately reconstructing the dynamics of the accident.
The area was temporarily cordoned off, while the show was immediately halted. Investigations are ongoing.
