As part of the protocol controls Land of fires, ordered by the Prefecture of Naples to curb environmental crimes, officers from the Environmental Investigation and Social Emergencies Unit of the Local Police stopped a three-wheeler loaded with hazardous special waste on Via del Riposo, in the Poggioreale district.
On board the vehicle, which was found to be completely uninsured and unregistered, officers found approximately 70 discarded car and motorcycle batteries, a potentially toxic and highly polluting cargo.
