In Torre Annunziata, a raid has begun against illegal construction on public maritime property. Yesterday, the Coast Guard seized approximately 1.000 square meters of structures belonging to a beach resort, including platforms, prefabricated buildings, and covered areas, illegally installed on the shoreline.
The concessionaire had failed to remove the structures within the required timeframe, thus constituting the crime of illegal occupation of maritime state property.
The operation is part of a series of inspections coordinated by the Naples and Oplonti prosecutors' offices, which since July have led to numerous interventions to restore legality along the Campania coast. The goal is to protect public property and ensure water quality, as well as the free use of the spaces by citizens.
With this new action, law enforcement reaffirms its commitment to combating illegal construction and restoring legality along the coast, following a series of warnings and stringent checks. The message is clear: there is no room on Campania's beaches for those who illegally occupy public property.
