Agitated, visibly pale, and in a state of severe anxiety, the driver further attracted the attention of the Carabinieri, who decided to search the vehicle. In the trunk, well hidden but carefully sealed, were twenty vacuum-packed blocks of ultra-pure cocaine: 23 kilos and 200 grams of the drug ready to be cut and sold on the local market.
The woman, already known to law enforcement, was arrested on charges of drug possession and trafficking. After the usual formalities, she was transferred to the Salerno prison, where she will remain at the disposal of the judicial authorities.

The story I read here is very strange and makes you wonder how people can make bad decisions. Why didn't they stop before doing something as risky as carrying cocaine in the trunk?
