Portici – It was supposed to be a place of protection, a safe haven ordered by the court. Instead, it became the starting point of a mystery that has now lasted four days. Suamy Rispoli, 16, has disappeared into thin air in Portici.
She disappeared on December 2nd, when she left school: she never returned to the foster home where she had been placed by the judges.
The complaint and the delay in raising the alarm
The director of the facility immediately filed a formal report of removal with the Carabinieri. However, the news only leaked out in the last few hours, when the biological mother—whose parental rights have been suspended—decided to break her silence, launching a desperate appeal.
According to investigators' reconstructions, the dynamics appear unusual. Suamy attended classes regularly, but vanished after school hours. Her cell phone has been turned off and unreachable since 14:30 PM that Monday.
“This is the first time he's behaved like this; he's never shown any signs of being unbalanced,” the community leader told the military, describing his seemingly calm behavior in the past, which contrasts with his sudden escape.
The mother's appeal: "He has no money or documents."
Jole Masilici, the girl's mother, is living through hours of terror. Despite the suspension of parental rights, she maintained supervised contact with her daughter. "She should have been safe and protected, and instead I don't know what happened to her," she says through tears. "Suamy's father and I are devastated. I saw her the day before she disappeared; we were rebuilding our relationship, but I found her agitated. I fear something serious has happened to her."
One detail worries the woman: the manner of her disappearance doesn't suggest a planned escape. The facility confirms that the 16-year-old took nothing. "She has no money, no change of clothes, no documents. If she wanted to run away, why did she go to school early?" her mother asks. At the time of her disappearance, Suamy was wearing a blue T-shirt, jeans, and a black fur coat, carrying only her school backpack.
The mystery of the message and the lawyer's accusations
The only faint sign was contact the day after her disappearance: according to her mother, Suamy texted a friend, warning her "not to look for her." This message could be a misdirection or a disguised cry for help.
The case takes on a more serious legal aspect with the intervention of Giovanni Micera, Ms. Masilici's lawyer. The criminal lawyer points to flaws in the guardianship system. According to the defense, the girl suffers from cognitive deficits that make her extremely vulnerable. "We have repeatedly requested increased surveillance," Micera thunders.
Despite Suamy's well-known problems, which make her an easy target for criminals, even necessary psychological counseling has never been initiated. We hope she left voluntarily, but we are seriously concerned.
The Carabinieri are continuing their comprehensive investigation, examining the minor's social interactions and the telephone numbers tapped before the incident.

Unfortunately, they are unfortunate girls, without families
In my opinion, the family home is not a prison.
Poor little thing, let's hope she's okay.
Reading the article, it seems Suamy's situation is very complicated. It's strange that she hasn't returned home. The things her mother says are worrying; we hope this difficult situation is resolved soon.
