Pozzuoli – The morning turned tragic on the streets of Naples, where a serious car accident claimed the life of a sixteen-year-old and seriously injured his friend and peer.
The collision, which occurred this morning in Pozzuoli, in the province of Naples, involved a scooter carrying the two young men and a car. The circumstances of the accident, which occurred on Via Fasano, are still being investigated by authorities.
The two boys, one a resident of Marano and the other of Bacoli, were heading to the Arco Felice school, where they both attend. The impact with the car was fatal for the 16-year-old, who died instantly.

Her 17-year-old partner, however, suffered very serious injuries and was immediately rescued and rushed to the Santa Maria delle Grazie hospital in Pozzuoli, where he is currently hospitalized.
The Pozzuoli Municipal Police promptly responded to the accident scene to conduct the usual surveys and begin investigations to determine the cause of the crash. Both vehicles involved have been seized for technical analysis.
The local community is in shock over the student's untimely death and the fate of his friend, while further details on the exact reconstruction of the incident are awaited.
