Benevento – "The Carabinieri never ask for money from home": this was the key message delivered by the provincial commander of the Carabinieri of Benevento, Colonel Marco Keten, during the end-of-year press conference held this morning at the barracks on Via Meomartini.
The appeal is aimed in particular at the elderly of Sannio, often victims of skilled and unscrupulous scammers. "One month after taking office," the new commander explained to journalists, "we have toured the entire province, meeting, thanks to the invaluable assistance of parish priests and mayors, 2480 people, mostly elderly.
