Ercolano – A final, symbolic walk to close out the year, dedicated to legality and the fight against racketeering. The end-of-2025 initiative, organized by the Campania Anti-Racketeering and Anti-Usury Federation (FAI), will be held in Ercolano on Wednesday, December 17th. It sends a strong message reaffirming the support of the state and its associations to local merchants.

The Christmas holiday season, traditionally a time of high revenue, often becomes an opportunity for organized crime to intensify their heinous extortion demands. This is precisely why the FAI is stepping up to raise awareness among business owners about not giving up, reminding them that they are not alone. The initiative aims to serve as a clear warning: reporting is the only way to defeat "pizzo."

The meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, departing from the Town Hall on Corso Resina. Leading institutional figures will participate in the procession, demonstrating a united front against crime. Prefectural Commissioner Dario Caputo, FAI National President Luigi Ferrucci, FAI Campania President Rosario D'Angelo, and Ercolano Section President Pasquale Del Prete will be present, along with law enforcement officials.

The goal is to demonstrate the institutions' concrete support for those who work honestly, building a wall of legality against all forms of abuse. A message of hope and courage, inviting victims to break their silence and rely on the safety net offered by the FAI and the State.
