Naples – Another operation against drug trafficking was carried out yesterday afternoon by State Police officers in Corso Mianella, one of the city's most sensitive areas. Handcuffs were placed on Pasquale Russo, a 66-year-old Neapolitan man already known to law enforcement for previous crimes, who was caught red-handed for illegal possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
The operation, conducted by staff from the Scampia Police Station, focused on a shack in the heart of Corso Mianella, which had been under surveillance for some time due to a suspicious influx of people. Officers, engaged in territorial control operations, caught the man making several drug sales, confirming suspicions about his role in the drug dealing network.
