Rome – OMR Automotive was awarded the prestigious 'Award of Excellence – 100 Italian Excellences' during the official ceremony held in the Sala della Regina of Palazzo Montecitorio in Rome.
The recognition is part of the 11th edition of the initiative promoted by the Liber Association, with the patronage of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and eleven Ministries.
OMR Automotive's inclusion among the 'Stories of Excellence' recognizes the development path of an international industrial company, now a leader in vehicle components, with headquarters in Rezzato (Brescia) and a structured presence of nine companies in Italy and six worldwide – including the USA, Brazil, China, India, and Morocco – as well as a growth model based on economic and financial strength, technological innovation, sustainability, process quality, and the development of people.
The "Stories of Excellence" showcase not only personalities and professionals, but also companies, institutions, and organizations that contribute to the country's development through innovation, quality, and responsibility. The ceremony opened with the National Anthem performed by the Italian Army Band Quintet and included official greetings from the Honorable Giorgio Mulè, Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies.
Also speaking were Verdiana Dell'Anna, president of the Liber Association, and Carlo Deodato, secretary general of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and president of the Honorary Committee, along with publisher Riccardo Dell'Anna, the creator of the project.
Dr. Marta Bonometti, Financial Controller of OMR Automotive, accepted the award on behalf of the OMR Group during a ceremony that brought together institutions, business representatives, and key figures in the Italian economy, culture, and manufacturing sectors.
"Being among the '100 Italian Excellences' highlights means seeing the daily work, expertise, and sense of responsibility that distinguish all of OMR Automotive's people recognized in a highly prestigious institutional context. This achievement extends to the entire company and encourages us to continue our growth with determination, continuing to invest in quality, innovation, and human capital," said OMR Automotive Chairman Marco Bonometti.
The initiative was born with the aim of promoting an informed understanding of Italy's value creation, offering a comprehensive overview of the nation's intangible heritage and spreading the culture of legality through virtuous examples.
The project showcases the country's excellence in numerous fields: from research to medicine, from tourism to cultural heritage, from institutions to law enforcement, from sport to agri-food, from design to construction, from mechanics to engineering, from automotive to the arts, and even economics, finance, services, the environment, and social issues.
With its inclusion in the '100 Italian Excellences' volume and the award, OMR Automotive further consolidates its position among the industrial companies that contribute concretely to the country's competitiveness and development, confirming a path oriented towards performance, innovation, and long-term sustainability.
