Tight security was deployed overnight between Cercola, San Sebastiano al Vesuvio, and Volla, where the Carabinieri of the Cercola station deployed an extraordinary prevention and surveillance operation. The operation, focused on the main arterial roads northeast of Naples, concluded with the filing of charges against three people, all already known to law enforcement.
Officers stopped a car, a Fiat 500X, that was traveling through the municipality of San Sebastiano al Vesuvio. Inside were three men aged 40, 36, and 33, all residents of Cercola. The search immediately revealed suspicious activity: several burglary tools were found inside the vehicle, leading to the three being charged with unauthorized possession of burglary tools.
For one of them, a 36-year-old, the situation worsened further. During a personal search, the Carabinieri found a switchblade with a 21-centimeter blade, which led to a charge of illegal possession of a weapon.
The Carabinieri's activity doesn't stop there. Further investigations are underway to determine whether any thefts or attempted break-ins were reported in the area overnight or in the previous days. Inspections will continue in the coming days to strengthen security and prevent further crime.

It's an interesting article about checks conducted by the Carabinieri. But I don't understand why there are so many arrests. I hope security improves and citizens feel more at ease in their daily lives.
