Another workplace death, another body found in a place that should be synonymous with activity, not a sudden end. It happened today, around noon, at Via Gianturco 100, in eastern Naples, where Carabinieri from the Poggioreale Company responded to a report received by the emergency number 112.
The body of a man was found inside an area used as a construction site and container storage facility. According to initial reports, the victim died while loading a container onto his truck. This incident remains unclear and is currently the focus of law enforcement investigations, as they reconstruct the events and determine who may be responsible.
The victim is Giacomo Burtone, 48, born in Cercola on April 21, 1976. His body was found in the construction site's operational area. Investigations are ongoing, and no hypothesis has been ruled out at this time. The Carabinieri are gathering evidence, interviewing any witnesses, and verifying compliance with safety regulations.
