Arzano – PM10 levels have exceeded the alert threshold. This was reported by ARPAC, which detected concentrations exceeding 50 micrograms per cubic meter in areas IT1507 and IT1508 on December 11, 2025. In light of the data provided by the Monitoring Unit and CEMEC and the persistence of weather and environmental conditions unfavorable to air mixing, the Municipality of Arzano has adopted temporary and urgent measures to protect public health.
With a note dated December 15, the ARPAC air quality monitoring bulletin for Thursday, December 11, 2025, was acquired. This bulletin shows that the PM10 limit of 50 µg/m3 has been exceeded, as has the air quality in zones IT1507 and IT1508, and that concomitant weather conditions do not favor air mixing.
In these cases, the Operating Procedure requires the recipient municipalities, all of which belong to the aforementioned area (including the municipal territory of Arzano), to adopt, on the working day following the notification, the PM10 control measures envisaged for the following three days and to verify their compliance.
