In Arzano, crime has once again struck the Eurospin supermarket, the scene of an armed robbery that occurred on Sunday afternoon, just days after the previous incident. The incident has raised concerns and drawn the attention of the Prefect of Naples, Michele Di.

Arzano – Crime is on the loose: the second armed robbery at the Eurospin supermarket in just a few days has attracted the attention of Naples Prefect Michele Di Bari.

Following the same pattern as just a few days ago, on Sunday afternoon, shortly before 14 pm, the criminals broke into the supermarket on Via A. Pecchia, brandishing weapons and wearing masks.

It all lasted just a few minutes: the robbers fled with their loot. The investigation was handed over to the Carabinieri of Arzano, who arrived immediately. Investigators are once again examining footage from the store's security cameras, as well as municipal surveillance cameras located in the area and along the route the robbers may have taken during their escape. They are also examining any vehicles they used to reach the area, and whether there were any lookouts waiting for them.

The amount of the loot has yet to be determined, but it's believed to be worth thousands of euros. The robbery exposes the vulnerability of an area perpetually at the center of criminal and delinquent disputes, with the historic center now a drug market.
