Arzano – A concealed weapon, loaded and ready to fire, hidden in an iron box just steps from a place frequented by families and residents. This is the disturbing discovery made by Arzano Local Police officers during a large-scale patrol operation over the Christmas holidays.
The raid is part of a security plan implemented to ensure public safety during the holidays. The officers, coordinated by Commander Biagio Chiariello—who also serves as Commander of the Caserta Provincial Police for 104 municipalities—focused their attention on several sensitive areas of the city, making numerous arrests and identifying individuals.
The weapon was found near the municipal park, an area already under close surveillance by law enforcement and recently the scene of vandalism, leading to several reports of damage.

The weapon, cleverly hidden inside a metal box, was immediately seized. Technical and ballistic tests are currently underway to identify the owner and determine whether it was used in recent criminal incidents.
The operation wasn't limited to just the seizure. The patrol also led to a crackdown on traffic law enforcement: several drivers were fined for administrative violations, resulting in the revocation of several driving licenses. The local command's goal remains to restore legality and ensure a greater sense of safety among citizens.
