The completion of the Autism Center in Avellino has officially begun. With the completion of the construction site, Roberto Fico's first act as President of the Campania Region takes shape, releasing €150 in funding to finally make the facility in the Serroni district operational.
The Avellino city administration has clearly announced the start of the implementation phase: "The Avellino city administration is taking a concrete step toward opening the Serroni district social and health center for autistic individuals by awarding the contract for the facility's redevelopment." The City, led by Prefectural Commissioner Giuliana Perrotta, has formally awarded the contract for the first phase of the project, which involves the main works. The phase for the electro-osmosis system has also already been assigned.
The resources, fully funded through the Campania Region's Development and Cohesion Plan, will complete a previously completed but previously unused facility. The Municipality emphasizes that the project will make "a facility that meets a significant local need in the health and social care sector fully operational."
The opening of the construction site marks the end of a long wait and the beginning of a concrete path toward the implementation of a service eagerly awaited by families and workers, marking a symbolic and operational milestone for regional social policies.
