The arrest occurred during a check on Via IV Novembre. The man was driving a car when officers searched him and found him in possession of 10 packages of hashish, 7 bags of marijuana, and €120 in banknotes of various denominations, believed to be the proceeds of retail sales.
The investigation then continued at the 52-year-old's home: there, the officers found another 18 packages of hashish, weighing a total of approximately 162 grams, and 80 bags of marijuana, weighing approximately 401 grams, as well as material believed to be useful for packaging the substance.
For these reasons, the man was arrested. He was also charged with driving without a license, a violation he had already committed repeatedly over the past two years.
