Casavatore – Thieves still on the move: yet another attempted break-in during the night. A well-known phone shop (pictured) was targeted. The crime crisis between Casavatore and Arzano continues despite police checks.

Yet another attempted burglary has taken place at the Futura store on Via Domenico Morelli. The attack occurred the night before last night around 3:00 a.m., when the intruders, presumably hooded and armed with burglary tools, used a Fiat Punto as a battering ram to break into the store's entrance, causing extensive damage.

The incident highlights an alarming situation that is struggling to resolve, distressing residents and business owners already grappling with a pressing crisis. The shadow of the clans looms large in the areas surrounding Secondigliano and Melito. This escalation is affecting the entire province north of Naples.

Gangs of criminals are targeting businesses, gas stations, pharmacies, and clothing stores using the usual break-in technique. The thefts, including those of cars, are reportedly occurring at a steady rate, raising questions about both the dynamics and the methods, which increasingly appear to be the work of gangs specializing in this type of criminal activity.
