In Giugliano in Campania, a raid by the authorities led to the closure of a shop due to serious irregularities, including the illegal employment of two employees and the presence of over a ton of spoiled food, with fines amounting to 18 euros.

Officers from the Giugliano-Villaricca Police Station closed down a business in the center of Giugliano in Campania and reported the owner for serious irregularities.

The joint operation with the Local Police, ASL Napoli 2 and Enel technicians uncovered two illegal workers, an illegal artifact and over a ton of food in poor condition, resulting in fines of 18 thousand euros.

It's incredible how there are still shops that engage in illegal work and don't comply with health and hygiene regulations. Closing this shop in Giugliano in Campania is the right decision, but more controls are needed to prevent similar situations.
