Marcianise – An arrest for possession with intent to sell was made on Christmas Day in Marcianise. On December 25, Carabinieri officers from the local Carabinieri Mobile Unit arrested a 34-year-old man from Maddaloni, already known to law enforcement, who was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
During a patrol, officers observed a Fiat Punto traveling at high speed along Via Madonna della Libera. A chase ensued, during which the Carabinieri reportedly saw a package thrown from the window.
Immediately recovered, the package contained 0,69 grams of cocaine/crack divided into three doses. The investigation then continued with an extended search of the man's home.

A total of 6,43 grams of cocaine/crack was reportedly found at the residence, in multiple doses and some still in the packaging stage. Seven 50cc bottles, presumably containing water and narcotics, some with straws and sealed with foil, were also seized, as well as material believed to be useful for cutting and packaging.
During the operation, €730 in cash, considered the proceeds of the illegal activity, was also seized. The 34-year-old was placed under house arrest pending trial.

The man's arrest on Christmas Day is strange. I don't know how such a thing can happen on such an important date. Law enforcement should be more vigilant and monitor suspicious situations more closely.
