Naples – Shutters down and music off for two weeks. The Naples Police Chief has ordered the immediate closure of a popular nightclub in Agnano, suspending both dance entertainment and the serving of food and beverages for 15 days.
The measure, implemented pursuant to Article 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety (TULPS), comes as a firm response to a series of violent incidents that have transformed the venue into a critical point for public order.
The final straw was the incident that occurred on December 14th. A violent brawl broke out outside the facility between groups of youths, culminating in bloodshed: a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the shoulder, while a 21-year-old was violently punched in the face.
But the file on the police station's desk reveals a situation that has been spiraling out of control for some time. Investigations have revealed a worrying recurrence: as early as May 2024, another 27-year-old man was injured inside the club.
Adding to this picture of violence is the security concern linked to predatory crimes: between February 2024 and December 2025, law enforcement officials recorded six reports of thefts that occurred within the facility.
This isn't the first time this nightclub has been sealed. In 2024, the Police Commissioner was forced to intervene with a similar suspension, also for 15 days. Evidently, the previous suspension wasn't enough to reverse the trend.
The new closure, according to the reasons given, is aimed at "avoiding a concrete threat to public order and the safety of citizens," interrupting a spiral of events that put the safety of patrons, often very young, at risk.

It's truly sad to see this nightclub continue to have such serious problems. Closing it is necessary, but I hope they can eventually resolve the situation and find a way to make the venue safer.
