Naples. Last night, officers from the San Paolo Police Station, supported by the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid, arrested a 16-year-old Neapolitan for aggravated theft and resisting arrest.
During a patrol on Via Terracina, officers spotted the young man on a motorcycle being pushed by two accomplices on another scooter. Upon seeing the police, the fugitives abandoned the vehicle and fled. After a brief chase, officers apprehended the minor, while the other two managed to escape.
Subsequent investigations confirmed that the motorcycle had been stolen shortly before and was returned to its rightful owner. The arrest demonstrates the police's commitment to preventing theft and ensuring urban safety, including for minors involved in criminal activity.
