Naples – An 18-year-old man was seriously injured overnight in the Chiaia neighborhood. The attack occurred around 1:15 a.m. on Via Bisignano, where Carabinieri from the Naples Central unit responded.
According to an initial reconstruction by the operational unit, the young man, with no criminal record and resident in the San Lorenzo Vicaria area, was walking with some friends when he was approached by several people on scooters. For reasons still under investigation, the 18-year-old was reportedly struck twice with a stab wound, one to the left stomach and one to the left side.

The boy was rescued by 118 emergency personnel and rushed to San Paolo Hospital, where he underwent surgery. He is currently in intensive care with a critical prognosis.
The Carabinieri of the Naples Central Company's operational unit are investigating the incident, with the support of officers from the Chiaia station. The motive for the attack remains unknown at this time, and the details are still being reconstructed.
