Naples is preparing to become the capital of Italian sparkling wines. On Saturday, December 27th and Sunday, December 28th, the Grand Hotel Oriente will host "Wine Spot Bollicine d'Italia," an event organized by Drop Eventi and Vitigno Italia to celebrate the country's sparkling wine excellence.
The event offers a sensory journey through the most prestigious appellations from Friuli Venezia Giulia, Trentino-Alto Adige, Lombardy, Campania, Piedmont, and Tuscany. Each glass tells the stories of winemakers, winemaking techniques that combine tradition and innovation, and regions that have made winemaking quality a distinctive trademark.
A journey between tradition and innovation
Wine Spot is aimed at wine enthusiasts and the public curious to discover how centuries of viticultural history and precise agronomic choices lie behind every bottle. Tastings will allow you to explore the diverse territorial expressions of Italian sparkling wine, from Alpine to Mediterranean bubbles.

It looks like a very interesting event for wine and sparkling wine lovers. I don't know if I'll be able to attend, but I'd love to learn more about the various labels and the stories of the winemakers behind them.
