The Naples Metropolitan Police conducted two operations to combat environmental and commercial illegality. In Sant'Antimo, officers from the Environmental/Road Section located a 2.000-square-meter warehouse filled with textile processing waste and used clothing. Approximately 200 tons of materials were stored inside, with another 180 tons stacked in the adjacent area, for a total of 380 tons seized.

The activity is part of the coordinated actions resulting from the European Court of Human Rights ruling on the Land of Fires and follows the recommendations of the Committee for Public Order and Security of the Prefecture of Naples. A well-known local criminal was ultimately reported, accused of trafficking and illegal waste disposal.

In Naples, near Porta Capuana, a second operation led officers to intercept a vehicle driven by a legal non-EU citizen. During the check, it was discovered that the man had no license and had never obtained one.

In the trunk, police found four bags filled with counterfeit goods: 106 pairs of shoes with luxury brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Nike, and Armani. The estimated value of the cargo is close to €11. Charged with possession of counterfeit products and receiving stolen goods, the man was photographed, and all the merchandise was seized.
