Naples – A veritable cache of illegal fireworks was discovered in the Poggioreale neighborhood, where Naples Local Police seized approximately 250 kilograms of explosive material lacking the required safety certifications. The operation was conducted by officers of the IAES Unit as part of their efforts to prevent and suppress the use of pyrotechnic devices that do not comply with current regulations.
The seizure took place on Via della Mongolfiera, inside an abandoned garage, the ownership of which is currently under investigation. Inside, the warehouse contained fireworks belonging to the F2, F3, and F4 categories, considered the most dangerous due to their high explosive potential and the risks associated with their storage and use, especially in densely populated urban areas.
According to initial investigations, the material lacked safety certification and was presumably intended for illegal sale or use during the New Year holidays, a period when there is a significant increase in incidents involving unauthorized firecracker explosions.

I think it's necessary to increase prevention and educate people about the risks of illegal fires. This problem cannot be ignored, especially during the holidays.
I hope the authorities continue to carry out checks, because it's important for everyone's safety. The risks associated with using uncertified fireworks cannot be underestimated.
It's very serious that there are still people selling fireworks without a license. These materials are dangerous and can cause serious accidents, especially in a city like Naples, where there are many residents.
