Pomigliano – The fight against racketeering and usury doesn't stop, not even during the holiday season. Indeed, precisely during this time of year, when extortion demands become more pressing, the Campania Anti-Racketeering and Usury Federation (FAI) intensifies its presence in the area with solidarity walks among merchants. After stops in Porta Capuana and Secondigliano, on Friday morning it was Pomigliano d'Arco's turn.

The initiative led to the unveiling of two new signs for businesses that have decided to say no to protection rackets, further enriching the network of businesses that have chosen the legal path. The signs were unveiled during the walk, a tangible symbol of a rebellion growing thanks to the support of institutions and law enforcement.

"You are no longer alone": this was the slogan that accompanied the demonstration, a clear message to local business owners. Underscoring the importance of the event were Deputy Mayor Domenico Leone, FAI National President Luigi Ferrucci, and local FAI representative Salvatore Cantone. A large number of law enforcement officers also participated: Carabinieri, State Police, Guardia di Finanza, and Municipal Police marched alongside the business owners, demonstrating the state's presence and determination to combat extortion.

Anti-racket walks are a crucial tool for breaking victims' isolation and creating a network of solidarity. FAI Campania aims to demonstrate that reporting is not a solitary and desperate act, but the beginning of a protected and shared journey toward freedom from criminal organizations.
