The electric heater track

Investigations to clarify the exact origin of the devastating fire were immediately launched by the Fire Brigade, in collaboration with the State Police officers.

The most likely hypothesis, emerging from initial technical investigations, points to a malfunction or overheating of an electric heater. The small appliance, likely left on or too close to flammable materials, triggered the fatal spark that transformed the home into a smoke and flame trap.

The authorities are now verifying every detail to confirm the accidental nature of the fire. The victim's body is at the disposal of the Judicial Authority for any further information.
