On the night of December 19th to 20th, a 40-year-old man attacked his 38-year-old partner, threatening to kill her and repeatedly slapping and punching her in the face for trivial reasons.
The victim, gripped by terror, managed to raise the alarm, allowing the rapid intervention of the Carabinieri of the local station and the radiomobile unit of the Sessa Aurunca Company.
Emergency medical personnel also arrived on the scene, providing first aid to the woman and transporting her to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. The attacker was immediately subdued and arrested. By order of the judicial authorities, the 40-year-old was placed under house arrest at his father's home, pending a summary hearing.
