Secondigliano. Last night, officers from the Secondigliano Police Station arrested a 40-year-old Neapolitan man with a criminal record for domestic violence and assault, who was caught assaulting his ex-partner.
The police station's surveillance cameras captured the scene: the woman, visibly frightened, was trying to ring the intercom to ask for help, while the man was grabbing her. The officers' immediate intervention, supported by reports from several passersby, allowed them to apprehend the man on Corso Secondigliano before the situation escalated further.
The victim reported being stalked and assaulted several times by her ex and that she went to the police station seeking protection. The arrest confirms the State Police's commitment to protecting victims of domestic violence and taking prompt action against those who endanger the safety of others.
