Castel Volturno – The thirty-two-year-old Nigerian national arrested on December 23 by the Caserta State Police following an overnight operation following a report of a violent domestic dispute is charged with attempted murder.
Officers from the Castel Volturno Public Safety Station, who responded to the incident on the instructions of the Operations Room, found a woman of African origin lying on the ground in the courtyard of a terraced house, in critical condition.
Inside the house were two men: the victim's ex-boyfriend, with his right wrist bandaged and bloodstained clothes, and a fellow countryman, a friend of the man.
Based on the serious evidence of guilt gathered during the initial investigation, the police arrested the woman's ex-partner, who was already known to law enforcement for previous drug dealing convictions.
The Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere subsequently validated the arrest, ordering the suspect to be held in prison as a precautionary measure.

This news is shocking and demonstrates the importance of stopping violence against women. It is essential that those responsible are severely prosecuted to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
It's worrying to know that domestic violence situations like this exist, but I hope the authorities take the situation seriously and that the woman receives the help she needs to overcome this trauma.
The article discusses a very serious case, but some points remain unclear. These include why the man was arrested and what the woman's condition is. More information on these factors is needed.
