Mugnano – The investigation into the tragic death of Rocco D'Alterio, the 36-year-old who died three nights ago in a violent car accident on the Circumvallazione Esterna, is underway.
The Public Prosecutor's Office of North Naples has registered a 51-year-old woman resident in Casoria as a suspect, suspected of vehicular homicide.
The position of the woman, who was driving a Lancia Y involved in the collision near a gas station between Mugnano and Melito, is now being examined by investigators. The magistrates' decision stems from the need to further investigate some anomalies that emerged during the initial investigation into the accident, which occurred near the former Auchan shopping center.
In parallel with the on-site investigation, a crucial step towards uncovering the truth was taken this morning. At the Giugliano hospital morgue, experts performed an autopsy on the body of the young man from Villaricca. The autopsy results will help clarify the exact cause of death and the compatibility of the injuries with the circumstances of the accident.
The victim's family, determined to shed full light on the culprits in the case, has appointed attorney Luigi Poziello to oversee every stage of the legal proceedings.
