MONTESARCHIO – The Benevento Public Prosecutor's Office has served a notice of conclusion of the investigation to a 35-year-old man living in Montesarchio, accused of aggravated theft from a cell phone shop inside the Liz Gallery shopping center.
The investigation concerns the theft of several latest-generation cell phones, committed with the aggravating circumstance of having stolen goods exposed to public view. Represented by lawyer Vittorio Fucci, the suspect now has twenty days to request an interview before the Prosecutor's Office can proceed with criminal charges.
The incident once again highlights the vulnerability of retail outlets within shopping centers and the authorities' focus on ensuring the safety of residents and merchants.

The article talks about a theft with a criminal record, and that's worrying. It seems the authorities need to do more to protect stores inside shopping malls. I don't know how they could get to this point; it's unacceptable.
