Naples – Yesterday, officers from the Naples Police Headquarters' Flying Squad arrested a 47-year-old Neapolitan woman, following a warrant for concurrent prison sentences.
The order, issued on January 3 by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Naples – Criminal Enforcement Office, sentences the 47-year-old to a total of 5 years, 1 month, and 24 days in prison.
The sentences relate to several already finalized crimes committed related to drugs and receiving stolen goods. The woman, taken to the women's prison in Naples, has begun serving her prison sentence.
This is one of the routine operations the State Police continues to carry out in the city to enforce final sentences, as part of their efforts to combat widespread crime and recover pending cases.

It's important that justice be served, but sometimes I wonder if these penalties are truly effective. Crime continues to rise, and the measures adopted don't seem to be producing the desired results. It would be helpful to consider other solutions.
