Thirty-day closure. This is the measure issued by the Naples Police Chief against a venue in the Bagnoli area, forced to lower its shutters due to the suspension of food and beverage service and dance entertainment. This decision follows a series of incidents that, according to the State Police, have made the area a critical point for public order and citizen safety.

The most serious case dates back to the night of January 6th, when a young man presented to the emergency room of San Paolo Hospital with gunshot wounds, reporting that he had been attacked by unknown assailants. Investigations conducted by officers from the Bagnoli Police Station confirmed that the incident occurred in the area immediately adjacent to the targeted club.

This is not, however, an isolated incident. On December 8th, police arrested a man found in possession of a 15-centimeter switchblade and two packages of narcotics, while on November 2nd, another individual was caught with a pistol with a scratched serial number and eight rounds of ammunition. In addition to these incidents, there have been numerous reports of aggravated thefts during dance or music events held inside or near the venue.

This situation was already known to law enforcement. In 2020, the same business had previously been suspended, then limited to five days, following serious crime incidents both inside the premises and in its immediate vicinity.

The closure order, implemented today, was adopted with the aim of preventing further risks and halting a situation deemed dangerous for the community. The 30-day suspension aims to restore safety and avert a concrete threat to public order in the Bagnoli neighborhood.
