At the Bracco Theater on Via Tarsia, under the artistic direction of Caterina De Santis, "Se Potrei" (If I Could) is being performed, a show by the comedy trio I Ditelo Voi—Francesco De Fraja, Domenico Manfredi, and Raffaele Ferrante. From January 22nd to 25th and then from January 30th to February 1st, with repeats on the indicated dates, the Neapolitan theater will be transformed into a linguistic and satirical laboratory, where rules are pilloried and laughter becomes a tool for social commentary.
The title, intentionally grammatically incorrect, is already a provocation: "Se Potrei" isn't just a mistake, it's an act of rebellion against the rigidity of language and the conventions of political correctness. Ditelo Voi, known for their stylistic blend of stand-up comedy and grotesque theater, dismantle the conditional as a symbol of a system of rules, limits, and hypocrisy.
They do this through sketches, improvisations, and theatrical games, crafting a sharp and informed satire that tackles current issues without sacrificing lightness or depth.
On stage, three distinct personalities merge into a single comic flow: awkward characters, unpredictable gags, a constant dialogue with the audience, and a corrosive wit that allows no concessions. Subversive grammar becomes poetic, sincerity—even when scathing—transforms into theatrical gesture.
"If I Could" is an invitation to imagine change without fear: breaking the rules, questioning dogmas, and perhaps even laughing about it. Because if we really could change something, perhaps we should start right there.

The article talks about a show that seems interesting, but there are too many difficult words and the grammar is a bit confusing. I wonder if the title is actually a mistake or a deliberate choice, but social satire interests me.
