Casal di Principe – A man born in 98, resident in Casal di Principe, has been jailed for stalking a woman he had been in a relationship with in recent months.
The order was executed following an investigative effort coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Naples North Court and conducted by the State Police of the Caserta Police Headquarters.
According to investigators' reconstruction, the stalking began in September 2025, after the relationship ended, and manifested itself through constant stalking, telephone harassment, and violations of her home.
According to investigations, there have also been several incidents of violence recently, including an attempted assault at a gas station and an assault in a public place, where the man allegedly struck the victim in the face several times.
In light of the circumstantial evidence and the woman's reported state of anxiety and fear, the judicial authorities ordered her pre-trial detention to prevent further risks to the victim's safety. The Prosecutor's Office notes that the order was issued during the preliminary investigation phase, is appealable, and the suspect is presumed innocent until a final sentence is reached.
