Napoli leaves Parken with a draw that leaves more than a few regrets. The Champions League match against Copenhagen ended 1-1, a game that Conte's men had in control for a long time and which became more complicated in the second half, despite their numerical superiority and a long sequence of missed chances.
The Azzurri's approach was authoritative from the opening minutes. They maintained consistent possession, pressed high, and had early chances, primarily from Vergara's play and runs down the flanks. The game seemed to be on track when Delaney was sent off for a harsh challenge on Lobotka, which was reviewed by VAR.
With the extra man and total control of the game, Napoli took control of the match and in the 39th minute the lead was a natural consequence: a corner kick by Elmas and a perfect header by McTominay, who confirmed his extraordinary form in Europe and put Napoli ahead with a imperious leap.
Second half: Napoli outplayed, Copenhagen equalise
In the second half, however, the script changed. Napoli continued to push forward, creating numerous chances, but lacked clinical precision. Olivera came close to doubling the lead with a header, McTominay failed to power a shot, Lang squandered more than one favorable opportunity, and Lucca, fresh from his arrival, missed the chance to make it 2-1, squeezing his shot wide from just outside the goal.
Copenhagen remained in the game, and in the 69th minute, the match was reopened: Buongiorno made a late challenge on Elyounoussi, prompting the referee to point to the spot. Larsson missed the penalty, but was quickest to rebound and equalized. The Azzurri were under siege in the closing stages.
Napoli pressed, racking up corners and chances, but Kotarski became a wall, especially on Olivera's header. After six minutes of injury time, the final whistle sealed a draw that weighed more heavily on the timing than the result itself. Napoli took a point from Copenhagen, remaining in contention, but the feeling was that they left a possible victory behind.

Napoli played well but ultimately suffered a draw that wasn't particularly good. I think they could have won easily, but they missed too many chances, and that's a shame for the fans.
