The first informal meeting of the new Campania Regional Council, led by Roberto Fico, took place today at Palazzo Santa Lucia and marked the operational launch of the regional executive's work, with the aim of defining its methodology and priorities for the coming months.
"This was an initial meeting to immediately establish the operational and collegial framework for the work that awaits us in the coming months," Fico stated in a statement released after the meeting. "We have embarked on a journey that doesn't begin today, but represents a further step in the commitment we have already decided to undertake as a coalition, which is now being consolidated thanks to the government team."
The president clearly outlines the direction of the administration's action. "We will focus our efforts on Campania's priorities, from strengthening healthcare to improving the transportation system and supporting businesses, from protecting the environment to combating inequality, putting the collective interest first," he emphasizes. "We will do so with seriousness and determination, through daily work based on listening and responsibility, with a constant focus on defending people's rights."
Fico also emphasized the internal climate within the new Council. "I thank the councilors for today's discussion. We will inspire our work with a fundamental team spirit, collaborating cohesively and synergistically to achieve the common goals we have set ourselves. I wish us all the best in our work."
The first concrete decisions will be on the table in the coming weeks. At the top of the agenda is the approval of the regional budget, which has been provisionally approved, with the intention of submitting it to the Regional Council by the end of the month and receiving approval from the Regional Council by February. Education and social policies complete the immediate priorities of the new direction at Palazzo Santa Lucia.

It's interesting to see how the new administration is organizing itself to face future challenges. However, I wonder if the priorities chosen are truly the right ones for the citizens, given that there are so many problems to solve.
All the money wasted instead of helping the people of Campania as usual.
Cool, be careful of the sheriff and the other one from Benevento, they're some old rascals, I recommend you.
At least help those who can't make it to the end of the month....
