The extradition of four suspects from Bosnia marks a decisive step in solving the Deutsche Bank robbery in Caserta, an event that shocked the community and highlighted the effectiveness of international police cooperation.
Caserta – Four of the suspects in the robbery committed on the night of March 22, 2025, at the Deutsche Bank on Via Bosco, Caserta, returned to Italy on a special government flight from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Pratica di Mare military airport. The four were extradited and handed over to Italian authorities, escorted by personnel from the International Police Cooperation Service.
The robbery was carried out by a group of six people who, wearing masks and driving a car with stolen license plates, managed to steal the bank's night safe and then fled. As they fled, a police car attempted to block the attack by blocking the road, but the robbers deliberately rammed the patrol car, injuring two officers.
The investigation, conducted by the Caserta Flying Squad and coordinated by the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Public Prosecutor's Office, allowed the entire operation to be reconstructed and all members of the gang to be identified. A first arrest had already been made on July 15, when one of the suspects was stopped at the border while returning to Italy.
According to reports, the six were living in Roma camps in the province of Naples and, the evening after the robbery, had fled Italy for Bosnia and Herzegovina. All had been held in custody by the preliminary investigations judge of the Santa Maria Capua Vetere court.
The arrests were made directly in Bosnia, where the individuals were located by local authorities in collaboration with the Italian police. With the extradition of the four suspects, the judicial circle in the armed attack on the Caserta bank has now been closed.

You can't expect anything better from those living in Roma camps. Rest assured, though, the sentence will be a classic Italian joke. Everyone free immediately.
